The Office of Nutrition Services provides nutrition education, high risk nutritional counseling, lactation counseling, and supplemental foods. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program serves women who are pregnant, non-lactating up to six months postpartum, and lactating up to twelve months postpartum, and infants and children up to five years of age who are at nutritional risk. The WIC program has started to a new electronic system for issuing food benefits. This will allow you to use an electronic card instead of paper vouchers. You should continue to use paper vouchers until you receive an eWIC card, which will be issued at your next scheduled appointment.
