Fortunately, many sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are curable, while others have effective treatments that can help you return to your normal routine quickly. By getting tested promptly, you can receive treatment sooner and take steps to protect both yourself and your partner.

STI Testing
We provide STI testing for a variety of sexually transmitted diseases, including:
- Chlamydia
- Genital herpes
- Genital warts
- Gonorrhea
- Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
- Syphilis
- Trichomoniasis
Testing can be as simple as a visual inspection by a licensed nurse, or may require a urine or blood sample. Test results are provided within seven days, and treatment can begin immediately thereafter.
Planning Your Visit
Call your local health department to schedule an appointment. Same-day or specific day appointment may be available. At the time of your visit, you will be asked about your household income and family size, but proof of income is not required to receive care.
