Albany, GA— Due to hazardous icy conditions caused by the recent winter weather, most Southwest Health District facilities will operate on an altered schedule on Friday, January 24, 2025. Facilities scheduled to be open will operate from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, except the Seminole County Health Department, which will be open from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. County Health Departments that are regularly closed on Fridays (Baker, Calhoun, Decatur, Miller, and Thomas) will remain closed.
We recommend that residents follow guidance from their local Emergency Management Agency (EMA) regarding traveling on the roads during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe and exercise caution if traveling.
COVID-19 testing remains available 24/7 at the Dougherty County Health Department, 1710 S. Slappey Blvd., Albany, GA, and the Colquitt County Health Department, 214 West Central Ave., Moultrie, GA, through the TEST&GO™ COVID-19 PCR Kiosk. Pre-registration for testing at the kiosks is not required but is available at https://register.testandgo.com/.
